Barnabé Ledain is a master’s student in international studies at the University of Montreal (UdeM). He holds a master’s in French criminal law obtained from the University of Lorraine (France), and a second one specialized in international public criminal law from the University of Lille 2 (France). Throughout the years, he has had the opportunity to do several internships, including a few in law firms and one at the Court of Appeal of Paris where he worked in the economic and financial department. These internships allowed him to deepen his knowledge of the judicial system, but also, and above all, to develop his research skills. He is considering a research and/or teaching career. Although his academic background has been primarily oriented toward criminal law, Barnabé is interested in international law and contemporary issues. Therefore, he is curious about new technologies and their impact on society, and on law in general.
