Médicys is the French law’s response to a European Union  directive which obliges all Member States to make online mediation tools dedicated to the field of consumer law available to their litigants.

The Chambre Nationale des Huissiers de Justice opted for PARLe, which was adapted to their needs as required by the new legislation. .

Médicys is a center for mediation and cyber services available to French bailiffs and litigants.  The mediation service is offered free of charge to consumers who have a contractual dispute concerning a good or service provided by the merchant.
