The PARLe platform of the Cyberjustice Laboratory is honored with the 2018 Award for Innovative Management of the Institute of Public Administration of Canada (IPAC), sponsored by IBM. IPAC awarded the gold medal to the Condominium Authority of Ontario (CAO) and the Cyberjustice Laboratory for the successful launch of Canada's first fully online court: the Condominium Authority Tribunal !

The CAO makes different tools available to Ontario condominium owners, including:
- Easy-to-use information to help them understand their rights and responsibilities;
- Resources to prevent and resolve disputes;
- And An online dispute resolution service, the Condominium Authority Tribunal (CAT-ODR)
Project Presentation
Following a reform of Ontario's legislation, the Condominium Authority of Ontario (CAO) and the Condominium Authority Tribunal (CAT) were created. The CAO selected PARLe as a software solution for their tribunal. The CAT-ODR is Canada’s first fully online tribunal serving condo communities. As of November 1, 2017, anyone with a dispute over condominium documents (statements of accounts, invoices, records, returns) may file a complaint with the CAT-ODR. The purpose of the project is to enable Ontario co-owners to resolve their differences in a convenient, timely and affordable manner.
