Valentin Callipel

Lawyer and expert in cyberjustice, Valentin Callipel is Head of Mission at Université de Montréal's Cyberjustice Laboratory, and a lecturer for the Internet Liability, Cybersecurity, Privacy and Intellectual Property course at Polytechnique Montréal.

Mr. Callipel has over 10 years' experience in cyberjustice. He has overseen several digital transformation projects for public and private organizations and various courts, and has advised numerous organizations and professionals in the fields of online dispute resolution, artificial intelligence and technology law. Since 2018, Mr. Callipel has been leading a research project on “Pre-Conflict Decision Tools: Orienting Litigants and Defendants” funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC).
