Everybody is talking in grandiose terms about the future of artificial intelligence (AI) in law and last month, this talk got louder still with the news that Linklaters had become the first magic circle firm to sign up to an AI provider, agreeing a deal with RAVN to automate a host of tasks.

But how will AI truly function in today’s legal world? At a recent conference, a panel of experts cut through the hype to find the true future and applications for AI in law.
